Chapter 14

We had a good time watching 'Evan Almighty' yesterday at J&D's home. The reason for choosing this movie is because it is wholesome and there are a few lessons to be learnt from even a secular movie:

1. That whatever God does, he does it because he loves us (even though it seems crazy some times)

2. When we pray for something, God gives us the opportunity to develop that which we pray for. For instance, if you pray for patience, then be sure there will be a lot of events or people that will test your patience!

3. Obedience pleases the Lord immensely.

Next week, we shall meet at HY's home on 26 October 2007 at 2000 hours and we shall be going over Chapter 14 PLUS sing some carols. Yup, we FROGs are going caroling this year! Who says frogs can't sing!
